Thomas joined Albert Counsel after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. During law school Thomas gained experience in commercial contracting. regulatory research, and public sector legal matters through his internships and practical legal work. Thomas has also completed legal research in taxation, administrative law, corporate governance, and British Columbia's Mineral Tenure Reform Act. 

Outside the office, Thomas enjoys strength training, theatre, fishing, and is actively involved in his local church.
