Stéphane joined Alberta Counsel as an associate in 2019. His practice spans a wide range of practice areas such as corporate/commercial, commercial and residential real estate, wills and estates, guardianship and trusteeship, and Aboriginal law, among others. Stéphane takes pride in providing practical advice and easing the often-stressful experience of visiting a lawyer. Clients appreciate his ability to simplify complex issues and communicate what they need to know.
Prior to joining Alberta Counsel, Stéphane worked at a general service law firm in Grande Prairie, Alberta. As a born and raised Edmontonian, he was eager to return to the city to continue his legal career in his hometown near family and friends.
Stéphane is fluent in both English and French. He received a Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta and the Campus St-Jean. He received his law degree from the University of Ottawa in its French Common Law program.
Stéphane is a big sports fan and likes to keep active by playing soccer, hockey, and slo-pitch. He loves to get out to the mountains to ski or hike and enjoys traveling, having visited numerous places across Canada and the United States and backpacked through South America.
