About Jessica Swann

Jessica received her BA with honours from the University of Lethbridge, and her Master of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Alberta. Before joining Alberta Counsel, Jessica practiced criminal law at a premier defence firm in Edmonton where she honed her written and oral advocacy skills.

Jessica enjoys all areas of litigation and has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta as well as before administrative tribunals. She also enjoys utilizing her passion for legal research and writing to solve novel and difficult legal issues faced by clients.

Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys travelling with her fiancé and attending the numerous festivals and events in Edmonton.
